Tina supports School Choice. This includes charters and vouchers for schools that had the courage to put children and families first. She opposes the closing of public schools to avoid creating Charter Schools and vice versa. Instead, Tina wants more schools to compete for our most valuable asset, our children.

Unlike AOC, who uses her connections to get her relatives into a charter school while pushing to shut them down to others. Tina is open about her support for providing parents’ choice in pursuing the best education for their children regardless of race, gender or zip code.

Tina says : “You don’t punish or shut down great schools because others are not performing. Competition is the best tool for innovation. If parent’s taxes are going pay for the schools, they should have a choice where their kids go and it’s up to politicians to make sure they have as many great choices as possible.”
